The last Hi Power I bought, I had MMC sights put on it. I am very happy with these sights but they did require some slide milling. I have just purchased another HP, a Practical model in .40. Does anyone know of a night sight that will fit into the original dovetails of this model?

Hello, I think IWI and Meprolite make night sights for the MkIII HPs that have the dovetailed fixed sights. Best.

AndABeer.....Are you going to install these sights yourself? I had Novac sights put on a Browning High Power (9mm) just this year. The Smith that did the job (Ross Carter, Harrison Arkansas) had a tough time removing the old sights on my Practical. Seems as though the factory finished the gun with the sights in place. He had to get out the "BIG HAMMER". Be care full, Shoot Safe.....CO

yeah, i plan on it, and it does look like they did the same to mine, i had thought that i would wait to refinish the slide until later but it looks like i may tear up the finish removing the factory sights, i have a can of brownells teflon/moly finish that i can use, just need to figure out the best way to strip the old finish off
btw, i got some Meprolights as all of my Glocks with FXD sport these, i prefer them over Trijis
