Trying to find out if the Hi-Point Carbine is legal in Cook County - so many stupid laws, I'm surprised Wal-Mart even sells ammo any more. Can't seem to get an answer from the Sheriff or State Police. Thanks in advance.
Pistol caliber carbines are still legal to possess in Cook county with the exception of any AR-15 style variants, hk mp5 type clones, uzi type, and that funny-looking one with a 50 or 100 round drum attached to it.
