Well I have never been one of the crowd and in the decision to
purchase a handgun I chose the Hi-Point .40SW even after reading some
of the "So called points", on how bad this gun is. After the first 500
rnds through my new weapon I can now truthfully say.....I am very
pleased in my purchase. The recoil handles well, the trigger pull is
rather good for a single action type with only a .65 travel and I have no problem
with any ammo going through her from standard FMJ 185 to Winchester
JHP, all seem to rack well.
I have been so impressed I went out and bought the 9mm compensator and
with 300+ rounds through her it has not had one jam with FMJ or JHP
all being Winchester or PMC ammo brand.
Being 6'2" and 255lbs with a large chest the .40 will be my standard
CCW carry
with a strong side belt FBI cant holster.
I have just sighned up for ISPC shooting so I will let you know later
on how that goes.
Talk all you want, but I'll set my hi-point against any resonably
priced handgun out there and shoot target to target with you every
time.
