Great video. I don't have a 45 ACP Hi-Point, just colts and S&W's, but from my experience with my C9 Hi-Point I will be getting a JHP!
Mosins of the handgun world. I like that, and it fits!!!:D

But get ready, the Hi-Pointaphobes are sure to follow.
If you mention it, they will come!!!

That's funny coming from you. Is there a single Hi-Point thread that you haven't posted in to extol the virtues of the pot metal powerhouse? You should see about getting a sponsorship....

too funny. but hey buy what ya can afford and save up for the best. Dont go without just cause you dont have 500.00

Just dont buy no jennings bryco.....

If you buy a hi point not only do the terrorists win, but the commies will come and take over America before putting us all in the gulags.

Or maybe, just maybe you'll have a cheap, reliable, guaranteed for the life of the gun pistol that can be fun to shoot, even if it is ugly as sin.

I've had chances to get them for way less than $100 several times. For that kind of price I thought of testing them for accuracy and reliability just for fun. In the end though its still giant blow back pistol that makes a Glock look pretty, I just can't get past the ugly.

What?!? What is wrong with Jennings/Bryco/Jimenez etc? Those guns have a lifetime warranty as well. Don't tell me that the Hi-Point crowd looks down their noses at these brands. Dare I say it...gun snobs!

Probably quite a few before I bought one just to see if they could possibly be as bad as so many claim they are. Then only to find out how well they shoot!

Should I extol the virtues of my Colts, S&Ws, Rugers, Walthers, well maybe my P22, and other accepted firearms. Why, many others already do!

It took me a couple years too, but keep pondering about Hi-Points, eventually you'll succumb!

I don't own a Hi-Point. I also did not need to touch a hot stove when I was a kid to realize that I would get burned.

I have been around Hi-Points though, and have had the distinct pleasure (sarcasm intended) of shooting several 9 and .40 cal Hi-Points and that was enough to provide me with all the information I needed without having to buy one (see hot stove example above).

Ah, but I certainly didn't get burned by buying a $150 pistol with an iron clad warranty that is as accurate as most of my other handguns!
If you have read my other posts you saw that i have said that I wouldn't have a Hi-Point for HD, or CCW. I also most likely wouldn't suggest one to someone as a first, or only gun. But my bottom line on the Hi-Point is that for the price it's a great deal on a fun, accurate range toy!

I have the C9 and the .45 HP carbine. Lots of fun so far at the range. I just might have to get me the .45 HP handgun as well.

-Happy New Year
