hi cap mag for BAR?

Does anyone know if there is (or was) an aftermarket higher capacity (than the standard factory one) magazine for a 30-06 BAR?

The BAR has a hinged floorplate that you attach the detatchable magazine to. As such, replacing the magazine with a high-cap would require you to replace the floorplate and install a retension device.

they do, however...

...make 10 round magazines for the Remington 7400 autoloader and the 7600 Pump rifle (will work in both, they use the same mags). I think the Remington 7400 .30-'06 carbine, with 10 round mags and a good scope (on a see-through mount) would make a pretty versatile rifle.
