Hypothetically speaking, IF one was to know of an individaul who lived in a country where Hi-cap mags were considered benign and was to "accidently" mail them to an individual in the USA, what is the penalty of law if the unsuspecting USA resident is caught recieving the mags? Purely for educational reasons, of course.

And what if one was to have a few spare magazines in your trunk as you crossed the border returning from your weekend trip either South or even North (ParaOrd) of the border?

With mag rebuild kits readily available for sale here, all one needs are mag tubes. And polymer mag tubes don't set off metal detectors. Te he.
 
I doubt you can get them in Mexico and canada prtty strict on guns also.

Does anyone know if they are available in Canada?
