I noticed on the "What Santa brought me" thread that you're in the Confederate Air Force.
Got any news on the Wildcats & Hellcats (all greased up & shrinkwrapped)that were being brought up off the Coast of Queensland ?
A realy cherry P-40E used to be on display down the Gold Coast War Museum but was taken back to Melbourne by its owner a few years back.
The original Chinese Star markings were visible through the WWII USAF markings !
All up it was 99.9% but not flyable.
Never did find out where they hauled it out from...
New Zealand must have the biggest amount of serviceable birds next to the USA.
