Hey Liberals: Go Back Where You Came From

I am sick and tired of the Carpetbagger Newspapers and Television Stations sticking their nose in other people's affairs.

In the South, we are intolerant because of school prayer and our views on alternative life styles. We are brutal murderers because we hunt. We are gun nuts for obvious reasons like concealed carry and easy access to firearms for the law-abiding. More recently, we are animals for executing thugs.

I have some advice for these pinkos: CARRY YOUR SORRY TAIL BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM! Why don't these idiots focus on the riots like the one after the Lakers/Pacers game in LA or the Central Park Wilding? As for Illinois Govenor George Ryan, just because you don't have your act together does'nt mean the rest of the country is not on track with the death penalty. Ryan needs to worry about his own affairs and keep his opinions off of Nightline.

If the sheep elsewhere in the country don't like guns then by all means, they should pass all the laws they want. Meanwhile, leave the South alone and let us live as we want to. As the Great Lynard Skynard once put it about Neil Young: " A Southern Man does'nt need him around anyhow". The same holds true for the rest of the liberal busybodies in the world.

Will I agree. Not only the south but what is happening in AZ is as bad.Wish people would stay home or leave their stupidy behind.

We have a criminal jury system which is superior to any in the world;
and its efficiency is only marred by the difficulty of finding twelve men
every day who don't know anything and can't read.

Will,

Some of the idiots from the North go South, and some of the idiots from the South go North. Causes everybody else to move around too, if you're not careful.

Will,
I kinda know what you mean,(even from my Yankee perspective) having hit somewhat the same kind of wall a few weeks back. A simple BITE ME!! to *them* worked pretty well to make me feel better.

Just a bit of friendly though. I'd lose the Skynard. Something about Saturday Night Specials and throwing all the guns into the sea turned me off to them. :(

Two suggestions, one political and one musical:

There are Northerners who value RKBA as much as you or I do. There are also some principled liberals who don't see RKBA as inconsistent with their other beliefs. Learn to tell the difference between these people and our real enemies. (And there are many of our fellow Southerners who are mortal enemies of freedom. Where do you think Slick Willie came from?)

Listen to RAE about Lynyrd Skynyrd. This pack of poseurs is not on our side, unless you, like they, favor a total ban on handguns.

People can be progun or antigun.

I don't have to buy in to a lot of conservative horsepoop to support the RKBA.

The South, North, West, all have good people and bad.

Such simplistic ravings contribute nothing to the RKBA.

There is wilding in NYC. In TX, a black man is dragged to death and pulled physically apart.

If you want to support the RKBA, you do it with the logic and force of your arguments.
Otherwise, you are part of the reason for the loss of RKBA rights.

The South does not have a good record on tolerance until they were FORCED to deal with the issue.

I grew up in the Deep South and I live in the Southwest. I have found that average Americans in any part of the country are great people who love freedom. I do not hate New Yorkers BTW, I have found New Yorkers to be great people, outside of NYC.

I am sick of the California Liberals, Northeast Elite and Midwest Socialists coming down here and treating us if we are idiots because we talk differently or hold different beliefs.

Closer to home, they are trying to take away the hunting grounds my ancestors have survived from since the War Between the States and claim them for the National Park Service not to mention their disdain for the Second Amendment. Additionally, they are trying to destroy the right to private land ownership by preventing land owners from cutting timber.

If the liberals referred to earlier want to go back where they came from and institute communism, they should do it. When they go to other areas to stir up trouble, that's a different story.

Yes, there is alot about the South that I am ashamed of including the Jasper, TX tragedy. BTW, those guys will get exactly what they deserve and yesterday would be too soon.

Most Americans from Coast to Coast are good people. I am a strong advocate of State's Rights. Forgive me if I have offended any of you.

Hey, 'Professor';

No, you don't have to buy into a lot of conservative horsepoop to support the RKBA.

But you do have to buy into a lot of liberal horsepoop to keep your job.

Honestly, do you EVER read the stuff you post befoere you click 'submit'? We're not your students. Save the lectures for the classroom.

As a 'guest' here, you really should mind your manners...
You really don't want to be sent to one of Dennis' detention classes.

Will, I agree with your convictions, having lived in the South for the last 35 years. IMHO, a great deal of changes have taken place, but the stereotypical images found in "Hee-Haw" will remain with the rest of the country forever. This may not be fair, but just like the picture of a Northern Liberals might conjure up certain negative things for us; we have the Media, and ourselves to blame.
There's stupidity in all of us.
We just have to keep trying... :)

...defend the 2nd., it protects us all.
No fate but what we make...

Weegee, is there a particular reason for the vehemence of your response to what appears to me to be a calm and reasoned post? All of us here are, after all, on the same side in the RKBA issue.

Certainly I'll admit that I've adopted a hostile tone when provoked, but I must say I don't see anything in Glenn's post that could be interpreted as provocative.

Can't we all just get along?

Now y'all play nice, chillun! ;)

Interestingly enough, I know some folks in upstate New York who are very close in appearance, attitude, beliefs, and customs to some nice folks in the boonies west of Kerrville, Texas.

I also know some city folk, born and bred in San Antonio, who are stereotypical New York City types.

Although any categorization or stereotype is a generalization, it seems most RKBA arguments tend to be urban v. rural more than North v. South.

In any case, there seems to be enough horsepoop (conservative, liberal, whatever) to offend most of mankind. Like Will, I believe we should tend our own gardens and quit trying to steal the other fella's plow.
