Hey, go tell Citibank what you think of their anti-gun policy...

This was a good tip, and I hope other TFLer's will take a few minutes and give Citibank investors a little piece of your mind.

This is a Yahoo stock chat forum, and the regulars on the board are getting a little cranky since they have some RKBA-types 'chatting' with them about Citibank's atrocious policy.

Like shooting fish in a barrel ... ;)

I just received a pre-approved credit card application from them. Wrote in black marker, "I DO NOT PATRONIZE ANTI-GUN FIRMS." Taped two 22LR slugs that I pulled out of my tree and taped them to the bottom of the letter. Sent it back to them in a pre-paid envelope. I think they'll get my point.

He who knows not and knows not he knows not is a fool, shun him.
He who knows and knows not he knows is asleep, awaken him.
He who knows not and knows he knows not is a child, teach him.
He who knows and knows he knows is a wise man, learn from him

CITIBANK MEDIA STATEMENT

RE: SMALL FIREARMS BUSINESS POLICY

March 2, 2000--In researching our recent interaction with the
Nevada Pistol Academy, certain incvonsistencies were identified
in our policies within the consumer bank. These have been
corrected. Moving forward, our practice of assessing a
prospective small business account on the basis of an evaluation
of the individual business will apply uniformly across the
consumer bank. Small businesses engaged in the manufacture or
sale of small firearms will be evaluated in the same manner as
any other small business, using the same standards such as
creditworthiness and number of years in business.

Uhhhh.....

Is that a retraction?

WEAK!

Does this mean that they're going to reinstate the Nevada Pistol Academy's account? I'd sure like to see a little more clarification before we give up the fight and claim victory.

Keep up the calls.
