Hey, D Crockett and Dr. Rob -- on FEG 380s

Hi Guys. Just thought I'd let you know that D Crockett's last post about his FEG got me all inspired and I took my FEG APK/S 380 into the gunsmith last week.

I'm getting a trigger job, the trigger edges smoothed, paint stripped, the slide blued, and the alloy frame bead-blasted to a natural finish. I'm also going to try a shotgun bead for the front sight, but keep the original back sight (which is a rounded notch). And, the price quoted me seemed quite reasonable.

It should be ready in a month or so, and I'll let you know how this experiment comes out.

I hope it goes well w/ your FEG. I was just
amazed that such an inexpensive pistol
could be improved upon so easily and be
that dependable and accurate. I ordered the
big dot sight and have it in now. Probably
wont have time to install it until after the
holidays. Let me know how yours turns out.
