Seems like the Left is getting a tad concerned about the
"Million new members to the NRA over the past year".

"In the past few weeks 200,000 new members".
(Mike Wallace, 60 Minutes).

They interviewed Charlton Heston tonight as well as Wayne
LaPierre.

What did you guys think?

CH made us look good!

Answered that bastard question; "whats wrong with just one gun a month", actually Wayne answered it, "its about the freedom".

They showed Mr. & Mrs slick willy and other liberal media at Heston's recent entertainment awards celebration and showed the liberals like him.

Stay true to our course Charlie.....keep growing our ranks!

Lets put it this way, it was one of the few times I walked away feeling, there see the NRA just a large group of well adjusted, educated people, we looked fine!

No mention of Rosie.....Well if Mike is worried about our growth, he better not put chuck back on, cause he made us look good!

The Clinton/Gore peoiple are really concerned now becasuse their pollsters are telling them that their whole anti-2nd Amendment campaign is backfiring on them now. They are not picking up strength, but loosing it to a backlash. You will see them doing bizarre things in the weeks to come.
I personally hope these cynical bastards have already dug themselves a grave too deep from which to climb.

I've noticed the lack of support for gun control in the past few weeks, but was afraid it was wishful thinking on my part. If it's happening, it's because of you guys. Acting rationally will always beat the liberals because they can't counter it, except with rhetoric. The MMM was a show, pure and simple.
There are those on this side and those on theirs. And then a whole crowd of people in the middle. Those are the ones we have to convince we AREN'T a bunch of lunatic gun owners and that when this particular freedom is gone, the others will quickly follow. Lucky for us, between HCI's lies and Rosie making a fool of herself calling anyone who owns a gun a murderer, they are awakening the herd themselves. Just pray they keep it up, they're doing the hard part for us.
 
60 Minutes did seem to try to make CH look bad. The interviewer got swept away with his own anti-gun rhetoric and stepped on Heston's words and didn't give him much time to answer. CH's answers, however, were quite strong.

Noticed that during the story they talked about NRA losing members due to the "hard line"...then updated the story at the end with the 1M new member factoid. They just ran an old piece, and didn't bother to update it beyond minor comments at the end.
