anyone have any info/experiance with revolvers from Heritage Manufacturing inc.? the wife is starting to get interested in shooting (YAY!) and i want to get her her own gun. she has shot a ruger 6" 22lr several times and wants a 22 of her own, in 4". she likes the looks of the Heritage guns, and the price seems very good. any info would be helpful. thanks.

I bought one of their revolvers a few weeks ago. With a 4" barrel and fixed sights I can consistently hit a 5 gallon gas can (empty) at 88 yards. I dunno about the rest of you but for me thats pretty good :) So far i've put about 1200 rounds through it and it has not misfired once. It hasd actually fired rounds that others handguns wouldn't. For what I paid and what I wanted to use it for it's a real good gun

edit: however I do need to add that the paint or whatever they use on the frame is looking a little worn already. It's not a big deal for me but it is worth mentioning

I love mine...and my frames blued, no paint in sight. I feel it is every bit the gun the Single-Six is at half the money. I haver the old style with the solid machined hammer, not the cast ones the new ones have..looks better to me.

I have an uncle who swears by them. He bought one with a .22LR and a .22Mag cylinder, and couldn't be more happy.

I couldn't be more happy myself, you see he is an uncle on my Mothers side, and they are all flaming Libs. Except him and my Mother that is.
He grew up a leftist, but is turning around. Matter of fact he just bought a new gun (henry lever action), and is now a member of the NRA. Come to find out he even likes gun shows!
