Heard on CNN this morning that Ms.Albright said if they don't get their act together in Indonesia(sp?) that the world police will have to be sent down there to make them play nice. Here we go again, messin' around in somebody else's business. They said other countries, I don't remember which, said they would join in. Damn!!! These people don't care where they send our troops to put their lives on the line. We've been lucky so far, but luck ain't gonna' hold with us for ever!!! As been said on here before, we have no business in any others countries politicial problems!!

Ever wonder why are founders wanted our country to rely on a Militia system vs a standing army that we have now? You might be interested in reading some of Dr. Rummel's work. You can find it at

Seems that when a country is democratic vs other forms of government there is less genocide. Could it be that when we have a militia system that the citizens who are expected to fight will only do so when the cause is just and popular? I think so.

The debate is not about guns,
but rather who has the ultimate power to rule,
the People or Government.

You do know that the Ford administration gave Suharto (Indonesia's previous leader) support and "permission" as well as material for taking East Timor ?
