Since Uberti makes the the 1866 in 38spl, I wish they would make a Henry rifle in 357/38 and 44spl!!!! I think the steel army version would hold up.
Google Henry Rifles the company is still making Henry rifles here.
IMHO, if what you want is an 1860 Henry, nothing the current Henry Repeating Arms Co. offers would suffice.
Yes but there is at least some lineage there. The Old Army is based on the Remington '58, just as the original Blackhawk and Single Six borrowed heavily from the Colt Model P. Never heard of a 4-screw Blackhawk but there is also defined lineage from Old Models to New Models.A Ruger Old Army isn't quite the same as a Remington 1858 New Model Army, a Ruger Blackhawk or Vaquero isn't quite the same as a Colt Peacemaker and a 4 screw Ruger Blackhawk or old Vaquero isn't quite the same as a 3 screw Ruger Backhawk or a new Vaquero.
Uberti makes Henry reproductions
Well I din't say anything about the Henry Arms Co. U.S.A. other than it's still in business and an American made Rifle
No but you made it sound as if it was the original Henry Arms Co. which it is not.
