Henry Golden Boy

I was looking at a Henry Golden Boy yesterday. Do you own one of these, or have you shot one of these? Please post your opnion and give me a heads up.

I didn't like the Henrys I've seen because the receiver looked like it was made fron cheap aluminum(won't last very long)----but the wood on most I've seen has been very nice. If it were steel -I would take a chance and buy one---but its not--so I won't.

Henry lever actions have a cast potmetal outer "casing", but all critical internal parts are made from steel. They are quality guns, and hold up well over time. No, they don't compare to Winchester 9422's and Marlin 39's, but at a third of the price they are a sweet deal.
