Turning to TFL to some good info on this rifle. What results at 100yds.,using factory ammo, could I reasonably expect for 4 shot groups? I'm a veteran bench shooter and believe if the accuracy is there I'll find it.Thanks for your help! :D

Been a while since I shot one of their .44s, but I recall accuracy was quite good at 100 yards.

Can't refine that vagary into "2 inches", or any other specific figure, without digging up long-filed notes, but seems like it was close to that.

I have a .357 that's put 3 under an inch at 100.

Henry accuracy across the board is usually not an issue.

My Golden Boy .44 mag would keep them well under 4" if I could my part. I don't know if there is any real difference in performance from the steel vs GB.

44MAG is no tack driver but hits very hard within reasonable distances. My RUGER 96 with scope will shoot an honest 3 inch group with Hornady Leverevolution ammo.

Is it really possible to predict how well some unspecified example of rifle will shoot? You could probably take 3 identical rifles off the assembly line and get 3 different levels of accuracy. Guns shoot better or worse with different ammo. Skill of the shooter with that particular gun? Way too many unknowns to forecast. Going to have to buy the gun and see for yourself.

Yes, to a point. When you get enough people, shooting enough rifles with enough different ammo to establish a reasonable average. And with the qualifier that the gun & ammo in your hands might be outside the average.

OF course, what you consider reasonable and what I consider reasonable might differ.
