HENRY AR-7.

I AM INTERESTED IN THE HENRY AR-7 SURVIVAL RIFLE. AND WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANY ONE THAT HAS ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS GUN.AND WHAT FINISH DID YOU GIT IT IN.

one of the big gun magazines has an article on the henry AR 7 this month

its an interesting rifle

the lack of a forearm makes the weaver stance the way to shoot it

about 3 or 4 companies sell it

[Kentucky Rifle]

I was looking for an AR-7 too. I needed a small, take-down rifle to fit behind the seat of my truck. Also it would have to go in the trunk of my Honda Pacific Coast.
I chose the Marlin "Papoose". It's all stainless steel with a synthetic stock. I love it. It doesn't break down and fit in it's own stock, but fits in a cordura carrying case. 3.25 pounds. I think the Papoose is the best.
