No I don't have one; I wish! OK I watch old episodes of 'Bonanza"; don't make fun of me lol. I am always seeing the Henry 1860 model rifle; seems like everyone has one. They must be prop replicas right? Even then they were worth tens of thousands of dollars each and very rare.

Hello, mnero. While there were a few westerns that used original Henry's, the problem was they were a rimfire..and even by the 40's, this stuff was getting scarce..let alone trying to find .44 Henry blanks! The standard Hollywood dodge..and you learn to spot them quick after awhile..was to remove the wood forearm from a Winchester Mod. 92. Of course, the new-made replica's are now used in movies, but they are chambered in a centerfire cartridge that was never even invented yet when the Henry came on the scene.

beautiful replica, but I just bought a henry .357 this year. If I buy another rifle this year my wife will use it to ...well you know:D

Get the Henry. Mine is a Cimarron iron framed (really steel). The real issue is do you want brass which may stretch or steel. If you go steel do you want the case hardened or blued. Most of the original blued where not case hardened but there are several that show case hardening. I wanted the case hardened look as I can't stand the gunmetal (brass) look of them.

Great guns, lots of fun. Mine always draws a crowd at the range. With 44/40's you can actually see the bullet in flight at 100 yrds with the light right. I normally can tell where the bullet will hit about 15 ft out.
