Im considering to buy a Smith & Wesson 4566TSW or a Para- ordnance p-13.45 Limited. The Para is $75 less than the Smith. What should i do?

You probably need to provide a little more information.

Are both pistols new?

What will they be used for?

How big are your hands?

I personally will never own another S&W auto even were I to ignore the boycott. Some people seem to like them though.

Though I have never personally fired a P-13, I have heard good things about them. Accuracy was one of the high marks I remember it for. Isn't that P13 bushingless?

They both feel comfortable in my hands. Yes they are both brand new. The limited series has barrel bushings. I would use the gun for target shooting and possibly carrying.

Love my P-13, amazingly accurate. I've got the hi-cap mags for it, and had it hardchromed as well.

Changed out all of the magazine springs though (wolfs) in order to get feeding reliability.

I had a S&W 4516-1 for a few years that was more reliable out of the box than any 1911 I have ever fired and was just as accurate as any custom out there. That being said, it was a chunky, blocky, heavy .45. I'd like to have that one back, but at this point I would pick up a Para-Ordnance P13.45 Limited before I'd get a Smith & Wesson 4566TSW because of the hud agreement.:(

I like the Smith. I have finally found a pistol that fits my hand, has the best stock sights on the market today and is made to exacting detail.

Of course there is the HUD agreement. Along those lines there are other choices to rule out as well:

Colt - Owner very anti gun for civies
Glock - Pioneer in Bullet Fingerprinting
Sig - Pinoneering Smart Gun technology
Ruger - Fathered ten round mag limit
Marlin - Owns New England who quit making handguns due to
pressure from Columbine massacre.
Remington - Buys parts or makes parts from Ruger

Your choices are getting slimmer by the hour. Hurry up while there's still time.
