Help with the revolver lock

That new lock mechanism seems to be fouling my action (627). How can i remove it?

I did find some info on You Tube and I believe I've successfully removed the offending part. Basically just the flag, right?

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. Action appears to cycle correctly until I install the side plate at which time it locks up solid.

Any idea?

Lock solved

The culprit was a proud pin on the hammer. It fouled the side plate.

Little tap, problem solved.

So the "evil lock" wasn't the problem after all. But the anti-lock crew feels better now that one has been removed.
