This might not be the appropriate place to ask but I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what the tactical phrase red, red, red means. I am participating in a conversation on another site where one guy is flaunting all this terminology and not relating what it means. Most of us knew what slicing the pie was but what in the world is red, red, red

Doesn't mean anything. Invented by the guy? Does sound like he thinks it means "Enemy in sight." though. Maybe Stop, stop, stop.

Maybe you could link to the discussion or provide a quote for more context. "Red" could be used to communicate and it isn't abnormal to repeat important commands, but...

I think you would be better served to ask on a video games forum:)
Not that I know anything about anything or anyone.

Some movies, and a few drill sergeants ask their privates;
"What makes the green grass grow?" Response "blood blood blood!"
"What color is the blood?" response "red red red" or something like that.... The years have fogged it a bit.

Maybe that's the reference.
