Help with Stuck Bolt on Weatherby

Okay you Brainiacs of the Gunsmith world....

I took a bolt out of Weatherby rifle and Duracoated just the handle (taped off the rest). Placed it back in... pulled the trigger and it slid in just fine. Eased it up.... dry fired once.... and now it's stuck. Won't cam up.

I HOPE there is some trick to this!!! Please help!

Yea, I didn't coat any of the mating/touching surfaces. And it's a definite hard stop, not a binding feeling. Thanks for the link, will post there too.

Well... the third time IS a charm. I pulled the trigger group again (third time) and finally found a small piece of bark, wood or something like that (not metal) lodged up under the bolt. I probably could have hammered it and it would have cut through but didn't want to really resort to brute force.

No doubt placed there by relatives of the fallen squirrels in your back yard.

:) Very amusing .. I must say as a newcomer to this forum, and from a different land too that I find myself simply reading through the postings to enjoy the excellent humor here - often so true to life too!
