Can anybody give me some information about a round with a headstamp of 9mm BnrS CC. Any other info would be appreciated.

That's a puzzler...

The .380ACP is sometimes referred to in Europe as the 9mm Browning or 9mm Browning Short. I wonder if BRNS stands for BRowNing Short?

Are you sure about the "CC"? I can't come up with anything on that...

Since it involves a criminal investigation (I saw you post on another forum), call the FBI. I would think they would be able to identify any casing made anywhere in the world.

I could try the FBI, that's a good idea. I already tried afte.org. I am positive about the CC, I am unsure but think its Czech.

This is strictly a hunch, but maybe it's Soviet Russian manufacture. The Novosibirsk LVE plant is famous for ammunition, notably the "Bear brand".

BR could be short for the Anglicized Russian word for Bear or maybe "Browning" as John surmised; NS would be Novosibirsk, and CC = Soviet Union, of course. (Ammo from Novosibirsk is usually stamped "LVE", but who knows what else they used?)

Check the case with a magnet, see if it is copper washed steel.
