Just got a Remington 1100 in 20 ga and I am having a hell of a time loading weak hand.
I have several Benellis and I am more familiar with the way the lifter is ‘free’ allowing me to load weak hand easily.
However, the Remington requires that you ‘push’ the bolt release to ‘free’ the lifter.
I guess I am looking for any suggestions on how I could improve this.
I have looked at DMW bolt release, but I am unsure if it will work on the 20 ga.
I have also been told that Remington makes a Competition Master Carrier Assembly, but all information seems to indicate that it’s for the 12 gauge only….any other suggestions other than ‘should have bought an M2 – I know, I know…’ welcome.
