Help with mauser identification

I have a custom 308 rifle with a mauser action. Im having a hard time finding the correct scope mount for it. Rhe markings on receiver is fabrica nacional de armas mexico df 1941. Can anyone help me identify the type if mauser it is so i can purchase the correct scope mounts.

You should post a couple of pictures. How the gun was customized may effect how you can scope it.

Your gun is a variation on the M-98 so it shouldn't be too difficult to find scope mounts. The question usually is do you want to tap and drill or if a clamp on will work.

Those Mexican Mausers are small ring, intermediate length, and - if still original - rather rare. Drilling and tapping might lose you more money than you safe by not buying a tapped hunting rifle. Pictures are essential to tell you how to proceed.
