I have a Mosin M44, round receiver, Izhevsk manufacture, 1945r date stamp. Good condition, bore is typical, good rifling, dark full length grooves, and it shoots very nicely. Doing some research, I found this on the 7.62X54R website:

A little over halfway down is a reference to a "Hardwood Stock with Laminated Toe Splice"

Which is listed as "Uncommon"
Mine: http://www.flickr.com/photos/17777062@N02/11824605603/
Rest of the rifle, next to its compatriot:

Is that what I have? Is it Uncommon, and if so what does that do to the value? I'm finding that the rifle is going for about $230 from retailers now, what would be a fair market value for this?
Thanks,
