Help With HKUSP45c Decision?

I have a full-size USP45 on the way and am thinking about getting a compact USP45, as well. However, it looks just a tad larger than a Glock 30 and holds fewer rounds.

Can anyone give me some reasons for getting the USP45c? (I guess I'm trying to talk myself into it...)

Thanks,
Steve

I have a USP45 compact and really like it, but sometimes think I'd be better off with a full-size. The compact costs more, doesn't have the recoil control, only holds 8 in the mag, and (in my opinion) is still a bit big for concealed carry.

If you want the compact just to have it, go get it. There are other .45's, that are actually compact, that will fill that roll better. Nothing beats getting what you want for no other reason than you want it. :D

Just get another fullsize USP .45 and you will have a main shooter and a backup of the same thing.

The compact and fullsize are both easy to conceal,
get what fits you.

Don't rule out the Glocks either.

Get what you want...

Lets see, the compact is...
Easier to grip v. your fullsize
Same manual of arms as fullsize
Same cleaning procedure
Same quality, fit & finish
Made to shoot +p ammo
It's a HK :p

A 30 is not like a 27 - it is pretty big too. The marginal difference between a .45C and a 30 is not great enough to be an issue for carry.

The round count - 2 rounds - not an issue to me.

The issue - grip angle. If you have and carry both you will have to remember that the glock will shoot a little high in comparison to your HK. Twin HKs will keep the POA / POI the same between both weapons.

Although - depending on how much you shoot - this is not a very big deal - I carry both.
