1) What do the icons at the top of a reply page do? I know the first one shows one's profile...

2) How do you do quotes in this forum?

Mark,
Hold your pointer over the icon and it will tell you. The one on the end is for reply with a quote.
 
second is email third is edit and the last is quote. You can also use the UBB code to quote. When you hit reply, if you look to your left you will see a link to the UBB codes. Good luck :)

You can quote by copy/paste the segment you wish to quote by pasting it and use the UBB code (found in FAQ) .

The icon "reply with quote" will quote the whole post, not a specific segment. Which can become quite annoying if the post was long or if one uses it to just reply (rather than using the plain reply button at top or bottom).

Thanks to all who replied. FWIW holding my pointer over those icons does not work. Normally it does but not here. :confused: I will check the FAQ--sorry I didn't do that sooner, DC.
