Help. Used Kahr needs recoil spring and guide.

Hello,
I blew it. My wife saw a Kahr K40 and I told her go ahead an buy it. The exterior condition was so good I didn't bother to field stip it prior to purchase, or clean prior to shooting. Shooting it today it bobbled a couple of times. I field stripped it and it was obvious that the recoil spring was bent. Then, closer examination shows the spring has been cut!!! And, it appears the previous owner had to use pliers to seat the recoil spring as the guide rode was significantly marred.

So, the question is, what brand and where do I get replacement parts FAST?

I got my Wolff spring in only three days after ordering. Kahr recomends that you replace the spring every 2,000 rounds anyway. As long as you're at it, Wolff offers a 22 lb spring in addittion to the stock 20 lb, the extra power spring smooths outh the k40 a bit(IMHO).
 
I have an older Kahr9 with about 1,000 rounds through it.

I noticed that it had a little chip on the guide rod lip which holds the spring. Maybe about 25% of it was gone. I shot with it at the last IDPA with no problem but I need to get it replaced.

Any recomendations for rod and spring manufacturers and weights?

do yourself a favor. order several recoil springs from Wolff. order them a pound or two heavier than the 20 lb. factory spring. as far as the recoil rod . search the web for a dealer of Harrts recoil rods. i put a 22lb. recoil spring in my K40 and a Harrts recoil rod and it is a different gun. while you are at it order a set of wood grips from Kahr. they are smmoth and easy to conceal. my spring took 4 days to come in, my rod 5 days. the Kahr grips on the other hand took over a month to come in. do not buy ProMag mags for it. use only factory mags!!!!
