HELP! The K-22's are Multiplying!!

I have seemed to settle down to two different types (of Smith's) that I can't pass up when I find a real nice one, or a great deal on one, K-22's & big-bore snubbies. Have walked away from some junk, and have passed on way over-priced ones. But anything in between is going home whether cash, credit-card or dish-washing is required to get it. I then have to sell ANOTHER deer rifle in order to get rid of the guilt, and balance the accounts...lol.

Here are my 3 K-22's..all purchased in the last year.

Top is a 17-3 8 3/8 with all the T's. first one purchased and responsible for the following addiction. Traded a 30-30 '94 and $50 boot for this one with box and papers.

Middle is a 48-2 purchased last month, quite a bit of honest wear, and had some mechanical issues, I replaced the cylinder stop spring, but it also shaves bullets a little.Going back to S&W. Only paid $150, so whatever Smith charges me, I'll still be very happy.

Bottom is a 17-3 6" that I picked up on the way home this evening at the same pawn shop as #2. Had quite a bit of rust only where your hand would hit it. Barrel was almost perfect, someone obviously didn't wipe this beauty down enough. Manager knows me and said, "I need to sell something today, give me $150. In best Mr. Burns voice I think "Ehhhhh-xcellent!" Cleaned it up a little with 0000 steel wool and oil...going lightly. It locks up and times excellent. Grips number to the gun too...cool.

thanks for the "fix"

one of those is about #2 on my wishlist right now.

Elkabong, I made your pic my desktop background just to tide me over till I find one to bring home.

Elkabong, I seem to have the same illness. Four S&W .44 snubbies have found their way into the safe (3" m24's and 696's). As for m17's, the 5-screw and 10-shooter could use some company. I note that you stated yours were "multiplying". Perhaps if I left them some Viagra and tequila and shut the door...........
