HELP! Smith & Wesson 66-4

I was just at the local Gander Mountain looking through thier used guns and found an all stainless 66-4 W/6 inch barrel. It was in superb condition and they wanted $250 for it. I was able to haggle them down to $220 so I put a deposit on it.

I have been trying to get some info on this gun...build date ect.(serial # CBN 7133) Is this a good price on the gun? Any opinions of this gun would be greatly appreciated. Oh...one more thing....what is the -4 in 66-4 mean??

Now, on to your question regarding the Smith & Wesson
66-4! My friend, your weapon was manufactured in August
of 1997; as per the Standard Catalog Of Smith & Wesson, 2nd edition by Supica abd Nahas. The model 66 is one fine
weapon, and has seen service by numerous police agency's
since 1970. Enjoy, Stay Safe, & Shoot Straignt-
