Need help, have a Browning Citori with a "silver Nitride" finish on the receiver. It was finger printed while on display, which has left dark finger print stains in the silver finish that I can not seem to remove.

K, you'll probably have to get it refinished to remove them. It sounds to me as if it rusted where the prints were. I would contact Browning and see what they say. George
