HELP! Sig SRT trigger install issue

Has anyone put a SRT trigger in? I just installed mine and do not see any difference in the trigger pull meaning something probably isnt in the right place. Its catching in DA and SA but with a lot of play in SA. Can anyone tell me off the top of their head what may be out of place.

The trigger pull shouldn't change that much, it's just that the trigger reset is shortened a lot.

To test: pull the trigger, hold the trigger back while racking the slide, and then slowly release the trigger. The reset distance should be much shorter than it was before (like 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch rather than 1/4 of an inch or more).
 
Oh, and in case you meant the short reach trigger instead of the short reset trigger (I don't know why SIG used the same acronym for both), the short reach trigger is just a skinnier trigger that has the exact same trigger pull as the regular (fat) trigger.
