help!!!! range finder with no instructions

does any know the proper way to use and calibrate the ranging 1000 from ranging inc. found one on e-bay but it doesnt have any instructions???????????
 
Is Ranging, Inc., still in business? Phone them.

Option: Insert batteries. Push buttons. See what happens.

I have a Bushnell; the instructions are almost no help because the darned thing is so simple. :)

this rangefinder dosent use batteries, it the old fashion kind that dont light you up like a christmas tree........ any got one?
 
Binocular style range finder

Disclaimer: I'm guessing here, based on how the focus works on my camera.

Look through the viewfinder. There should be a horizontal line in the center. There should also be a focus wheel or knob somewhere. Look at something (preferably with distinct vertical lines, like a building or trees) and turn the wheel back and forth. When it's focused, vertical lines on the object you're looking at will be aligned above and below the horizontal line. Read the distance off the scale.

ok , after much tracking,( company moved to san antonio from new york) the instrutions are on the internet with thier prouducts at www.ranging.net the range finder is very good....so check it out........... Anyone need a ghilliesuit? I make taylor made suits just e-mail me...........
