Help pricing a 10/22

I'm looking at buying a 10/22 from a friend and was wondering what a fair price would be.

It is not a magnum. It is about 15 years old. The barrel is lightly rusted and in need of bluing. The rifling is in good condition.

What would you consider a fair (not necessarily a bargain) price?

I'd say $75 - $100.

I just purchased a basic 10/22 from Sports Authority for $169. Hope this helps.

A new blue 10/22 is $139 in Houston.

I'd say 75. max., if ya go 100 then its close enough to price of a new non rusted one to warrant buying it new. 10/22's are still 139. in Colorado.
