help pick a synthetic stock

I'm looking for a stock for my project 98 Mauser. Need light weight, easy to

inlet for a XS scout scope mount (already installed) over a steped barrel.

Reasonably cheap (see no need to put a $500 McMillan on a $150 mil-surp).

Any ideas?

I have quite a few Ramline stocks on my rifles. Results have been very satisfactory. Fill the hollow butt with an expanding foam and that gets rid of the "booming" so often associated with hollow stocks. In most cases they are a total drop in, at least that has been my experience. Butler creek makes a nice stock for the Mauser as well. I think they're made for military actions as I had to do some serious glass bedding and inletting to put a commercial Mauser action of mine into that stock.
