My new pistol grip buttstock just arrived from Advanced Technologies today and when i went to install it, I couldn't get the screws holding the recoil pad on the gun to come out. Any suggestions? Screwdriver bit size?

The screws should be #2 philips bit screws unless someone has altered the recoil pad. Even then that is the most common screw for pads and butt plates. I think once I saw some allen socket screws on a pad, but that is very uncommon.

Hey thanks, I'll try it. But if it is a number 2 then why are the holes so small in the recoil pad to get at them? Thanks again!

Put a little oil or grease on the screw holes of the pad, slip in a #2 screwdriver and take them out. If you don't use oil or grease the pad will be pushing back against your screwdriver making it a pain and also increasing the chances of stripping out the heads of the screws.

The holes are so small for appearance issues, it just looks better.
