Help on instructions for new pistol.

Just got my new Ruger Mark-II Slabside.
I'm going through the book to learn about it and make my way to the disassembly section so I can clean it & learn more.

Read what they have in red on page 9:

Gee, you mean this isn't a paper weight? Who would be buying this and thinking that when it is loaded and you pull the trigger that it won't fire a bullet out of the barrel?

What Barnum didn't know is that it isn't their fault. Some of them have Diminutive Equine Deficiency disorder (didn't get a pony) Attention deficit disorder (somebody told me what that was once, but I was so self-absorbed at the time that I forget what they said) Post-traumatic Birthday-Clown Separation Anxiety disorder (I'm doing my masters thesis on that one) etc. Point is, it is important for all of us here at TFL to understand that with the proper number of laws and warning labels we will all be able to live happily ever after. If it saves just one life......
