I have a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 mounted on a Savege 116 in 30-06. This past deer season was the first season of use and it performed well. As it is still a relatively new scope to me I don't have much experience with it, but don't have any complaints. The only thing I can think of is that while sighting it in it didn't have a very noticable click when adjusting the crosshairs.

Burris makes a fine scope

The new Burris Fullfield II is probably the best optics available in the 'medium-priced' category. Leupold has re-designed their scopes for the worse - very over-priced for the quality.

Bought two Fullfield IIs in the past year and really like them.

But my 'varmit' scope is an older B&L '4200' 6x24.

I have 2 Burris Signature Series 6x24 scopes. Dropped one a few years ago, had to use the "Forever Warranty". They made good on it, and turned the scope around in about 10 days. The customer service I got was excellent. I'm looking for a Fullfield 2 in about 4x16 next. I'd reccommend them to anyone, they've been great to me.

I have an 11-yr old 3x9 Fullfield II and it still gives good service even after being mounted on an AR-15 and several other rifles. But I doubt if I could find any paperwork on it. If it craps-out on me Burris will still fix it ?

I own a burris fullfield 2 3-9X40 and a black diamond 6-24X50. Both are excellent scopes. the 3-9 is hard to beat for the price. Currently i use it on my AR-15 carry handle two which i have shot some 1" groups at 200 yards and 1 1/2" at 300 yards. it is very clear and tracks perfectly. The black diamond is good, but not in the same class as a leupold. It is very clear and tracks like a dream. After looking through my friends Leupold Mark 4, i realized that its not in the same league as far as clearity goes. the mark 4 is also about twice the price though.

In my opinion Burris used to make fine scopes in Colorado. Now they have their scopes made in the Philipenes and don't even stamp them as such. They take a sticker that can be peeled off so you won't know you got a cheap scope. The prices reflect made in America, the business practices are not ethical by any standards. In my opinion.

I won't ever buy another.

I have 2 of them. Both fullfields. One has been on my Winchester model 88 (.358 win) for around 10ish years. Never lost zero. Granted only about 100rds a year go through it. The other is on my Sig SHR 970 30-06. Only a year old and still has it's zero after 200 rds.

The Burris rifle scopes I have were built some time ago and they are both fixed power scopes. A 6X Fullfield and a 12X Fullfield with AO. They are both very sharp and clear. The 6X is almost 18 years old and has been on many rifles through the years. An excellent scope.

The 12X is about 10 years old. It too, has given me great service. The AO markings could be more accurate. And it is an extremely long scope. I have fired some of my best groups ever using this scope.

Have no experience with any of the current line of Burris scopes.

Have an older Burris Signature on my 300RUM, which had been used on my Bar 7mag for 6yrs. It continues to perform flawlessly. Also had a Burris 6X Fullfield on another 7mag, which also was excellent. That scope unfortunately went with the rifle in a trade. Hated to let it go. I have not bought any of the newer models, so can't comment on those.

Marks655, Both of my Signatures were purchased used. Burris didnt bat an eye when I told them that. The rep I spoke with told me " If you run it over with a Mack truck, we'll fix or replace it, free". Don't know if I'd hold them to that or not, but the "Forever Warranty" worked for me.

Fullfield II good stuff, IMO, though I am not terribly impressed with my "compact" line scope from Burris - it holds a zero well, but it's not overly clear; ditto on the fixed 2.75 scout scope from them.
