I want to buy a over/ under .410 for dove hunting. I might also use it for skeet shooting. I want a factory new quality gun for $1500 or less. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to stay with a more popular name brand. Thanks

"Brand New In The Box. famous Sig/Rizzini Quality TR20 Silver Over Under Shotgun, hand rubbed oil finished European Walnut Stock, single selective trigger, auto ejectors, jeweled monoblock, replaceable hinge pins, chrome lined bores with 5 choke tube. $1499 "

The Sig-Rizzini guns have gotten extremely favorable reviews on shotgunworld. I'll the leave the Browning and Beretta recommendations to someone else.

titleman,
I don't have any suggestions, but just want to say you must be one h&ll of a shot. I have fun with a 20 while dove hunting, but can't imagine using a 410 for dove and skeet. I know I'm not that good with a shotgun. Congrats.

A Citori Lightning 410 would be a great choice. You should be able to get one for that money. They list for more but most large dealers will sell for much less.

Go look at the Ruger Red Label 28 gauge. Ruger made no plans on building a .410, but they have a set of .410 tube inserts that are very nicely balanced that can be purchased with the 28 gauge gun.

the birds in california must be real slow because i was getting doubles with a bolt action mossberg .410 last dove season. It is just no challenge with the larger 12ga. Thanks everyone for the info
