Help needed rear sight shifted on Ruger 22/45

I have a bull barrel ruger 22/45 with a rear factory sight that has moved to the left at least 1/8th inch. Tried loosening the setscrew and tapping w/ a leatherman, no luck. Then tried carefully tapping same on corner of range bench, still no joy. Any one w/ same problem and a good fix?

You do mean that the entire sight base moved, and not just the rear blade itself? If that's the case, then yes, it must be drifted back over to the right. A brass or nylon tipped punch is needed. How did it get moved if the set-screw was tightened down?

Dug around in my roll around and found a small piece of micarta and a brass hammer. After some calibrated whacking finally got sight base to move. Applied blue locktite to lock screw, should be good to go. Will find out at range today. Thanks for the help. This is one great site!
