Help needed for Remington RP9 9MM

Gonna need a little more info than that. What exactly is happening? Are you using live cartridges and they aren’t going off? Can you not physically press the trigger to the rear?

Did you read the manual?

While the RP-9 may be a poorly engineered and even more cheaply built pistol, operation is simple unless it's broken.

If you're doing what the manual says and it still isn't working, then the "cheaply built" part is coming in to play, and you need to call Remington, so you can send it in for repair.

Definitely read the manual. I don't see any other manual safeties, there may be a mag safety. Whatever you do, when you are trying to make the pistol fire, always keep it pointed down range, hands nowhere near the muzzle of the barrel, ear protection on. Is this your first pistol?
