Help, need a couple of magazines

I picked up a EAA Witness Elite Limited (Tanfoglio) 9mm last week. Have been wanting to use a red dot on a 9mm handgun without a lot of gun smithing. That particular handgun is drilled and tapped for mounting a rail for the red dot. Unfortunately, it came with only one magazine. Not being the best researcher I'm not able to find a source for spare magazines, including the seller of the gun, BUDS GUNS. Please help me, if you can.

How is the Limited? Thought you'd never ask. It's a big, heavy metal gun, absorbs recoil nicely. The barrel is thicker up front, adding more weight there. The trigger pull is heavier than I like, but it is smooth without a lot of travel. Had to adjust the rear sight, the gun was way off. But, very accurate after adjustment.

My shooting buddy had bought a Witness a couple of weeks ago; I've forgotten the model: it looks like a CZ75 TS. When I shot 20 rounds thru it at 10 yards, all 20 rounds were in a 3" target. It was perfectly balanced, light smooth trigger.

I had hoped the Limited would be similar. It's not.

The Limited and the p30sk were brand new, first time fired. The CZ75 TS had 800 rounds thru it.

Thanks for the advice. The Limited, and I believe the Gold Team, use the same magazine and base plate. I went to the EAA website and it gave a phone number to call and said buying two magazines would reduce the price to $25 each.

Ordered two this morning, via telephone. They aren't the ones available on other sites. And, instead of being $25 each, two of them cost $138.

I'm slowly learning that one should research throughly before buying other than a run of the mill handgun. I'm calling those guns readily available at most LGS's, run of the mill.

Had a similar issue when I bought a STI Range Master; it came with one magazine. Found out the factory doesn't sell magazines, have to buy them thru a STI dealer.

Nothing is simple.

Can't help you with the magazines, especially if Bud's couldn't help you. I have this mind set that "accuracy" is not in the firearm, but in your hand. Some pistols "fit" hands, and some don't (according to their design). If a pistol fits your hand and has a descent trigger mechanism, your breathing and trigger pull with the front finger joint squeeze, stance, aim and follow thru, you can hit any target at 10 yards with practice. Good luck on your second magazine purchase.
