:confused:Wow I guess I'm not the only one in a decision dilemma from some other posts here! Yep well I've got the itch and the loot for another boom stick purchase, i carry a Walther PPS 9mm, and have a mutt AR-15. I do believe I want a .45 now. I'm looking at both the FN FNX 45 and the Walther PPQ. I don't care about the difference in 3 bullets capacity between the 2, if 12 rounds of 45 don't do the job it ain't the pistols fault. What do y'all have to say between these 2 pistols, perhaps help me in this decision? Thanks

If you are accustomed to the PPS, then the striker fired PPQ should be familiar. If I recall correctly, the FNX is a DA/SA hammer fired weapon.

You're comparing the polymer framed striker fired PPQ to the polymer framed hammer fired FN FNX. I have a polymer framed striker fired Gen4 Glock 21, and I also have a polymer framed hammer fired HK45 with a manual safety. These are both great pistols in their own right, both very reliable and accurate, and it's tough to compare one to the other, but if I had to choose one it would be the HK45. I think the HK45 has good sights, a better trigger and a more ergonomic grip than that FN FNX. I know the PPQ has slightly better sights & trigger and a more ergonomic grip than my G-21, but I can still shoot this G-21 very well.

So between the 4 guns I mentioned, I'd choose my HK45. Between the PPQ and the FN FNX, I'd take the PPQ, but these guns are so different that its your choice to make.

Of the two you mentioned I would take the FNX. I have very little experience with the two, but I am a fan of DA/SA. I have heard the PPQ has a great trigger though.
