Help Me Pick

Ok thanks to the help of some people on the board I've narrowed down my search to these 3 types of shotguns all in 12 gauge caliber.

Beretta 390
Remington 1100
Remington 11-87

Which one would you get and why. The Beretta is about $525, the 11-87 is $600 and the 1100 is around $500 in a Sythetic stock .

Have you shot any of the guns? Which one feels good to you. What are you going to use the gun for, hunting, clays, HD?

The Beretta 390 is an older model that has been superceeded by the 391, but it will be around for a long time as it is quite popular for clays. It is probably the most durable of the three.

Geoff, I'm mostly looking into skit shooting and a bit of dove hunting. I've only shot the Remington 1100 and liked it, unfortunately I haven't been able to shoot any of the other one's .

Well I picked up a 12 gauge Beretta 390 from Wally World today at lunch time. It doesn't look as nice as an 11-87 since it has a synthetic stock and not a wood stock but it looks like a fine gun. I'll take it out this weekend and see how it does if I can figure out how to put it together.

Thanks for everyone's input.
