Help me out - Why isn't this selling?

You have to move out of NJ, that's the problem. I lived there for nearly forty years until I couldn't take it any more.

Seriously though, I'm not a hunter so I have no idea why people aren't interested. Part of it might be that if they buy a long gun locally (within the same state), the purchase will not generate a paper trail in most states. Again, I don't know but I just want to say 'hi' to ya and ask who's on 101.5 these days? Regards,

Have you tried auction arms?
I allso notice you use laminated and composite to discribe the stock.Need to go with one or the other.

IMO, since a new one can be had for only about $150-200 more, after you add all the shipping and FFL fees depending on where you are, you can approach the cost of a new one. Also, from what I've seen, used optics rarely catch a good price.

Since I just bought an A-Bolt II in .308 with BOSS, for $499.99 sadly you can kinda see why this may be the case!

Although, thats a really nice stock.......... ;)

I thought I'd seen it all, until a 22WMR spun a bunny 2 1/4 times in the air!

Suggust you edit the ad to clean up the composite vs laminated thingy like Bob said. Also you refer to guns plural?

Just a thought, might try listin it same price but without the scope. Just describe the mounts n rings. Sometimes the wrong scope brand will turn away an otherwise buyer even tho the price is still right.

Also concurr re Auction Arms listing.

Good luck sir, rsptfly, Sam

Simmons isn't too high on anyone's list for scopes, so you might consider it a write-off and keep it or let it go in the pricing structure.

a picture would help a lot.
(If no Digi-cam, or scanner, most copyshops can do it for you)

Unless it has a high-quality/$ scope(Leupold,Burris,Zeiss,Swarovski,etc.), I would consider it a wash.

I think your best bet would be to take it to a gun show (do they have those in NJ?)
