I'm watching this, because I feel I must hear the enemy's agenda, but it's hurting my brain!!!! AHHHH!!!!

The DNC's whole agenda seems to be, "Lets throw as half truths and "statistics" at them until they forget why they are cheering and just continue to because we sound like we know what we're talking about."

If Clinton says, "My fellow Americans" one more time I think I will vomit!!!! arg. It's eating my mind. Why must I endure this :(

Feinstien is speaking now!!!! ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's coming after us boys. There are a hell of a lot of us that believe that 50,000 more cops and absolutely no guns is not the solution. Email these people, vote against them. Dammit I'm so mad now I could blow my TV up. Watching the DNC is as nasty as Hell Week that the Navy SEALs go through! arg!

Can you folks imagine how bad this country will be if Gore / Lieberman / Hillary get elected? It boggles the mind. And, will test the mettle of the Supreme Court.

Ugh.

After listening to Clinton tell us how great things are (and it's all because of him), I honestly expected someone to make a motion to suspend the Constitution and appoint Bubba King of America. And did you see all those people with their ridiculous signs? I can't understand why anybody would support this guy, let alone jump up and down waving a stupid sign on TV! Actually, I do have one theory...Clinton is such a loser that he makes all these liberals feel better about themselves.

Only three more nights...

What drives me nuts, is that the sheeple think that the worst thing that Klinton has done is to have sex with Monica. The fact that there has been one scandal after another from day one, and that any one of these scandals would have wrecked the career of a Republican president, just goes right over the heads of the common person on the street. Maybe, the people are too stupid to take care of themselves like the Democraps think?

uh-huh.

Watched BJ @ the DNC last night.. thought I was going to blow chunks.

Everytime I heard slick willie say "My fellow Americans," I felt an overwhelming gag sensation and remembered what it was like to feel ashamed for being an American by his standards.

Nralife-- it's because that's what they heard & saw on TV-- and why the TV is SO dangerous to our health as a country.
If people don't see an event on TV for about 2 weeks running, they think it isn't "really important." Remember Di? The peep-hole's Princess? Meanwhile the Red Chinese walk off with our nuclear secrets-- yawn! People die in mysterious crashes, accidents, and suicides-- yawn!!!
If it isn't on TV for a week or two, and repeated in headlines during that time, people tune it out.
The only light I see at the end of the tunnel is that more & more people are listening to talk radio & using the Web for news, and that the networks' market share is in a tailspin.
God grant the scales fall from the eyes of Americans, and soonest!

It is amazing to me that Gore has been Clintons "hey boy" for 8 years and supported him and Clinton still won't step off center stage and give Gore the spotlight! This is the "me generation" to the max! I still say that Clinton will not leave the presidents job voluntarily in Jan 2001. If Bush wins wait and see what happens. Hell if Gore wins I see problems with Clinton leaving!

I don`t see how you guys could stand it. I was surfing and caught the adoring glances of the morons when he was lying, oops, speaking.
There are 116 Russian sailors on that sub. I`d love to swap them for 116 idiots in that hall.
OH GOD! They`re showing Hillary this morning!

I could not watch and partake in such self torture. WND has a poll going as to who was doing what during Klinton's speech. I voted that I was downloading porn at the White House. Yup it's power at all cost to these people and the country be damned.
I regret that I have only one vote.

FWIW I DID blow chunks during the hillary speech (by the time I got to klint's I had nothing left to give).

Got about a gallon - and I had barely eaten all day.

Battler.

See my post on how to watch the DNC:
http://www.thefiringline.com:8080/forums/showthread.php?threadid=28525

I never made it to Klintons speech ,I'm on the east coast and went to bed before he got on.. The Klintons really took their sweet time and delayed the convention schedule. Even the media was pointing this out. The Klintons are the center of the universe and the audience waits for them!

The worst thing Bill Klinton has done is to be Bill Klinton.

The first step is registration, the second step is confiscation, the final step is subjugation.

Hey, don't be so hard on Bill - he's the best the Democrats have. He's not too bad, if you like left-wing, adulterous, draft-dodging, pot-smoking, tax-evading, socialist liars with no respect for the Constitution.

Seriously, what galls me most with this scandal-ridden scumbag, is the media's adulation. If a conservative - heck, even a moderate - Republican had his performance, you'd have people like Peter Jennings and Tom Brokaw camped out in front of the White House, asking "How long will this despicable man hold America hostage from the Oral - oops, I mean Oval - office? When will he resign?"

I had the same problem. I switched over to FOX and they were showing film of the idiot "protesters" instead.

Take your pick.

Well, I started the evening by watching coverage on the Clinton News Network. In the CNN skybox, there wasn't a dry pair of pants to be seen as the moderators awaited the Great Event.

Dylan McDermmott (any relation to the McDermmott pool cue?) was showing off the copy of the Declaration of Independence that Norman Lear bought, with about as much reverence as he would show for an Oscar statuette. Did he read it? He then listed off the fates of the men who signed the Declaration, but apparently the story didn't sink in.

Bernie Shaw and Jeff Greenfield were talking about how much better the Democratic Convention was than the Republican. Huh? They were going to have 29 elected officials speaking on just that one night. Wow!

Then Mellissa Estrogen did a medley that started with a couple of lines from the "Star Spangled Banner," which got no crowd reaction. But she then segued into Woody Guthrie's "This land is your land," which got the aging hippies on their feet. "Your land ain't your land, your land is my land, from Kalifornia to the New York ghettos, from the spotted tree frog to the 'lil snail darter, your land belongs to Communee's."

Meanwhile, Larry King was throwing softball questions at Hillary: why New York? Oh, she said, everyone's dream is to someday move to New York City. Really?

Then King spent some time with the variously assembled parts of the artist known as Cher.
Her Colligenliness spoke about how the Republican Party is made up of rich guys, and that "Texas is the worst place to raise a child."

Back at the podium, the parade of elected uteruses--including Feinstein--continued until I couldn't stand it. I turned to C-Span to wait for the line in Hillary's speech that Jeff Greenfield said would bring the house down. It was something to the effect that she couldn't wait to be the next senator from New York state. Alan Keyes, watch out. This woman is a firebrand!

Finally, his Billness took the podium for the passing-the-torch speech. But he didn't pass it. He gave Gore a few pats on the back, then went on at length about his favorite subject:
him. It was a speech that was all about him.
The cameras panned the audience, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

When I awoke this morning, I thought I had dreamt it all. But, no. It was real. Sort of.

Ahh...I watched WCW. Beats the hell out of the DNC and at least these guys, when they have personal issues and mental malfunctions...just ruin each others lives and liberties...not mine. :D

Dang, and all I did was read the new issues of American Handgunner and HuntingNet.

Dangus, you don't need to hear the enemy's agenda, you already know what it is. Why subject your brain to that kind of abuse?

Solution = VCR :)
