I know what it is
It is the really expensive kind!!
Seriously, it looks like a custom, to me anyway, the spiral fluted bolt is not something you normaly see on a Remington, Winchester or Ruger. If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that it may be a Sauer. The placing of the what I think is the safety down near the trigger and what appears to be the floorplate release in the front of the triggerguard should be a giveaway to someone who is more familiar with actions than I am. That is a unique place to put the safety and a release. I have to think it is a full on custom, with somebodies take on a Mauser action. But that's just me.
And that wood!! That stock alone probably costs as much as my Subaru!!
Look at the checkering the way it runs up on the grip, and it looks like a three leaf Express style folding sight, The scope mounts, the glass on it, the angle of the bolt handle, etc.. I am pretty sure that Walmart does not stock those on a regular basis!!
.
But I must say, and it is JMHO in a big way, that I don't think I like the placement of the Safety and floorplate release, if that gun is made to deal with something that can eat you or at least turn you into a pile of Goo, I would rather not have those particular controls in those places. If you are shooting to save yourself from being eaten, stomped, gored, etc., that is too close to your very shaky trigger finger, one wrong move and you can make something go very wrong at the worst time possible. But then again, if you can afford that rifle, at least your family stands to get a fat inheritance
