Help me find this shotgun forend....

I remember seeing a shotgun forend that had a handle mounted underneath at a slight left-side angle instead of the usual straight down pistol-grip style of most common "tactical" forends.

If I can find this particular forend for my 870 I would like to try it out.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Anything that would help me find this particular style of forend would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I think Knoxx made it. If they did it is no longer stocked.

I haven't seen one other then at a demo 2 years ago.

Thanks! You are right.

I called Knoxx after reading your reply. They told me it was part of their SideWinder system and designed to work with that conversion. Also said that it was only available for the Mossberg :(. I remember seeing the photo on the webpage, the entry team guy holding the shotgun with the drum on it and using that special forend.

An interesting note: They will be releasing a new recoil-reducing forend (hopefully around the end of the year) that uses the same technology as the SpecOps stock. It uses a picatinny rail system. Combining the SpecOps with the new forend will make the shotgun independent of the shooter in as much as the shooter does not come in direct contact with the recoiling shotgun. Sounds *very* interesting. I think I'll wait and see their new forend. :)
