Help identifying an old rifle

My uncle found this rifle in his closet. He said he's had it for over 20 years. I haven't yet been able to determine what it is. There are no markings other than some serial numbers that are recognizable. There is a "792" to the left of the chamber which I assumed meant 7.92 caliber. The serial number on the bolt handle is prefixed with "EA". I originally thought it was a Mauser, but I can't find one that looks like it, though it shares many similar components.

There is an eagle / bird logo that I haven't been able to find either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Spanish Mauser Model 1943. The crest on the receiver is for the Spanish Air Force and it should be chambered in 8mm mauser (7.92mm). Thats a nice looking rifle and its still in its original configuration.

EA = abbreviation for Eulogio Arostegui, Eibar,Spain Air Force !

You,ve got a nice.fairly rare rifle there. Check all the parts, they should all have the same ser.# on them. If so, Keep in original condition and enjoy !
